House 41 Completes
The construction of the House 41 in Velike Zablje, Slovenia, is now complete. This single-family house has received official approval and is ready to be settled in.
House 41 is built on a narrow plot on the edge of an old Mediterranean village. The new construction thoughtfully incorporates an existing stone family house, protecting it in the center of the new home and preserving the site's history.
Although situated on a small plot next to the street, the house provides plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Privacy is ensured through the clever use of an internal atrium and a spacious roof terrace, offering views of the surrounding village.
The new walls follow traditional logic in their geometry and tactility, allowing the building to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. It appears as if the house has always been there, respecting the local context while providing a contemporary living environment.
